Bangkok – A smooth start into our adventures. We both been already in Bangkok so feels a bit familiar. On our first 2-3 days we mainly slept as we were suffering from our jetlag and from late meetings of friends for dinner & going out to Sugar, Sing Sing, and T-Rex as well as a nice cosy restaurant called the Owl Society! It was a pleasure to meet my/our friends Bew, Joaquin and Ernesto again!
We stayed in Everyday Bangkok Hostel which is a dorm with rooms of 4 – 6 persons. We decided to stay in a 4 bed room that we shared with two Japanese guys who are here for work.
Finally, on our last day today we will even go to an Ice Hockey game to see Ernesto playing. (pictures will follow)
Now, I would like to give you an outlook on our next days as we also spent some time to plan the next 2-3 weeks (see map below)
So far we will fly on Monday to Chiang Mai where we will stay at the Anchada Hotel. We will visit the Elephant Discovery Keeper that was recommended to us by Joaquin. Next stop will be Koh Phangan. We fly from Chiang Mai to Surat Thani and taking the ferry to Koh Phangan (Thong Sala) where we will stay in the Lime n Soda Beach Resort. After a few days we will head to Koh Tao.
